Vetus Hatches

ABC Powermarine supply a wide selection of Vetus ventilation and escape hatches, many of which are available from stock.

Check out the difference between hand-polished and anodised only aluminium. Hand-polished looks much more sophisticated and, on account of the surface pores being polished out, the aluminium remains shiny and clean. These hatches feature a new design of handle which can be opened from the outside as well as the inside, making them comply with CE regulations: they can however be locked from the inside.

Planus Hatches

Planus hatches are made with anodised aluminium frames with 75mm corner radius and "smoke" colour acrylic lid of 10mm thickness and are fully CE approved.

Genius Hatches

Genius hatches are made with anodised aluminium frames with 42mm corner radius and "smoke" or "green" colour acrylic lid of 10mm thickness and are fully CE approved. They are equipped with one central, continuously adjustable support which enables the hatch to be opened to an angle of 180°. The overall height is only 26mm.

Libero Hatches

Libero hatches are made with anodised aluminium frames with 32mm or 55mm corner radius and "smoke" colour acrylic lid of 12mm thickness and are fully CE approved. They differ from Planus hatches in having a frame all round the lid.

Portholes

Vetus portholes have anodised and hand polished aluminium frames (unless specified) and "smoke" colour acrylic of 10mm thickness. They are clamped to the hull and not screwed, maintaining watertight integrity. Other frame finishes are also available: please ask for details. Mosquito screens are available for all models.
