ABC POWERMARINE – CORONAVIRUS STATEMENT

25th March 2020

It is with deep regret that, in accordance with Government guidance, we have decided to reduce our services to an absolute minimum.

Our chandlery is closed but is still staffed part-time and we continue to offer a mail-order service for now. We can be contacted on 01248 811 001 and if we are not available, by email to nemo@abcpm.co.uk

The yard is closed to all, including boat-owners. The Government's 'Stay at home' requirements contain no exceptions which would permit boat owners to leave home to visit the yard and as such we strongly advise against trying to do so.

We are, therefore, unable to provide any launch or recovery service at the moment. Our workshops are also closed.

During the period that we are unable to trade as usual, we will retain skeleton staffing at the yard to ensure security, check boats and deal with any issues arising.

If any customers have particular requests to check their vessels, we will be pleased to try and do this.

During this difficult period, we hope that our customers will understand that we are taking these measures to ensure the health of our staff and to ensure that we are still all here when we are able to operate as usual again.

To all our customers: please isolate yourselves as much as possible and keep yourselves safe. We look forward to seeing you again at the end of this.

Put your health first. Don’t take any risk.

Think about the vulnerable in our society and act where possible with compassion for them.

Please look after yourselves and look out for each other.

Stay safe.
