Brokerage Prices

What we Offer

• We will prepare a boat brokerage particulars sheet, inclusing pictures, using information provided by the vendor. This will be displayed on the brokerage board in our chandlery.
• The boat will be indexed on our website and a unique internet page created.
• Where the boat is stored on-site at Beaumaris, we will take up to 5 separate photographs of the boat at no additional charge. If the boat is off-site, then we will be pleased to accept images by email.
• Boats displayed on-site will be stored on their own trailer in our sales compound (subject to availability of space), otherwise in the yard. This will be charged at our standard rate, subject to a minimum of 10 weeks (this is non-transferrable if the boat is sold during this period).
• Storage after the initial 10 week period will be charged per week and if the boat is sold before the end of an invoiced period, the cost of storage will be refunded for the remaining time.
• We will show prospective purchasers over the boat if stored on site.
• We are able to arrange sea trails if required, the cost of which is usually met by the prospective purchaser.
• We will prepare the bill of sale, arrange the transfer of funds for the vessel and hand the vessel over to the new owner.
• Brokerage commission is charged at 8% plus VAT on the agreed sale price, subject to a minimum brokerage commission charged as noted in the schedule below.
• Please note that all funds are held in a Clients Account; and that we usually release funds to the vendor within 7 days of transfer of ownership.

We strongly advise that any prospective purchaser should check the particulars and have the vessel professionally surveyed before purchase.
