Vanguard DR Series

The Vanguard DR400 is an entry-level Dive and Rescue boat: small enough to be used with a tiller-steered Mercury outboard and strong enough to stand up to the rigours of a working life.

The DR400 is suitable for professional and sports use in clubs, marinas and beach rescue. It is towable - and can be unloaded on any ramp or beach close to desired area.

Closed-cell polyurethane foam filling provides extra buoyancy, making the boat practically unsinkable. It can optionally be fitted with a jockey console with remote control.

A high-capacity bow locker permits the location of the fuel tank forward to improve the centre of gravity.

The Vanguard DR660 is perfectly suited to being used by diving clubs, diving clubs and the most demanding professional users.

It is highly manoeuvrable, with deep V hull at the bow. It has a wide, self-bailing 6.35 m² deck, with a large bow stowage locker which allows easy access from the bow to jetties and other boats.

The tubes sit above the waterline at rear, improving handling performance and preventing the accumulation of seaweed and barnacles when anchored for extended periods.

The DR660's hull has a reinforced internal structure and deck; and a built-in 130 litre fuel tank ensures stability and a good range. The stern counterbracket has access to cable conduits and the 6,000 litre/hour bilge pump.

The Vanguard DR760 is a robust, high-capacity boat with wide beam and large self-bailing 8.75 m² deck, providing a high level of safety and comfort for charter and diving activities.

At rest, the tubes sit above the waterline to prevent the accumulation of seaweed and barnacles when anchored for long periods; and at speed this improves the handling and performance.

The DR760's hull has a reinforced internal structure and deck; and a built-in 300 litre fuel tank below deck that provides range and stability. A large bow stowage locker and forward deck allows for easy boarding or transfers to another boat or jetty. The large deck area enabled the use of a wide range of optional accessories.

The large transom to prevent waves coming on-board during sharp deceleration and bilge access with a 6000 l/hour pump.
