Due to European Union emissions regulations, all Mercury two-strokes have been withdrawn from sale to the leisure market in Europe.
Some two-stroke engine models may remain available for installation on certified rescue boats, however we would advise that four-stroke or OptiMax engines are fitted unless a like-for-like replacement is absolutely necessary.
Data on the Mercury 2-stroke range has been retained on this page as a reference source: this reflects 2006 production, after the withdrawal of carburetted V-6 models.
Mercury single-cylinder portables deliver sparkling performance and long-lasting boating enjoyment. They all come with sure-starting electronic ignition. They're loop charged for smooth power and performance under all conditions. They're fitted with rugged lower units which withstand all kinds of abuse. No one packs more features into an outboard of this size.
